UCU@25

Hello,

I am Paul, a student of Uganda Christian University (ucu) currently pursuing a bachelors degree in industrial fine arts(BIFA). 

This blog is meant to act as building block in Research for my academic Project in painting under the theme 'UCU@25'.

As the university draws close to her silver Jubilee, I intend to create a study of Uganda Christian University's architecture and Iconic personalities.

I intend to show some of the technological and cultural variables experienced in this learning environment over the last two and a half decades. 

I believe that two art movements will be crucial in executing my projects, that is; constructivism and cubism. Just image the vice chancellor's portriat executed in cubism.

Media I intend to use; oil paint and Linseed oil as a vehicle.

Surface; canvas.

Materials; paint brushes and palette knives, oil paint, acrylic, newspapers, magazines, wood glue, water colors, ply wood.
